Report from Priest Lake PHP Auction
 
The Priest Lake People Helping People charity auction held May 28, 2011 at Elkins Resort was an amazing success. The weather cooperated and the setting and company made it one of the most enjoyable auction days I can remember. I am overwhelmed at the response to the event for such a small community. This year over 200 people attended of which 210 partook in a wonderful prime rib and mahi mahi buffet dinner. Thank you to all who attended, donated, supported and volunteered in our yearly Memorial Day weekend auction event.
 
Gross receipts for this year are $99,864. The live auction represented $42,550, with underwriting and direct donations totaling over $32,000. The silent auction brought in $9569.
 
When all the bills are finalized and the non-profit donors receive their proceeds, it is estimated that approximately $56,000 will be placed in the Grant fund this year and over $75,000 total dispersed to the community, WOW!!!!
 
Priest Lake is a special place your continued support is appreciated.
 
We receive donations from businesses and families for $25 to $2500 to help support the grant fund and the auction. Please share the auction importance with your neighbors and encourage their involvement.
Besides it's a fun event and a great way to start the summer season.

Everyone who volunteered to provide the Spring Festival weekend activities in Coolin and the auction have again outdone them selves and shown how much they love the lake and welcome those who visit.
